Spring E-Board Elections

At Wednesday’s meeting the club held Executive Board elections.
The new club officers are:

President: Frank Sciremammano
Vice President: Caity Carter
Treasurer: Ryan O’Hearn
Secretary:Kelly Scheuer

It’s true, in 7 days, Democrats will probably have a majority in the House.
Unfortunately there’s a good chance that the representative in RIT’s district, Randy Kuhl, a man who:

has stood behind the administration as a loyal lapdog for the last two years

Massa-Kuhl Debate Oct. 10

The RIT Dems will be heading to Elmira to see the second Massa-Kuhl debate. This is the only debate that is both televised and open to the public, so it’ll be a great debate to attend.
The debate is this Tuesday, at 8pm, so instead of our regular meeting we’ll be driving down to Elmira.

Although it may come as a surprise to some, I’m sure we’re all aware that this November 7th, there is an election.

Dorm Storm!

Although some technical glitches set us back, the RIT Democrats Dorm Storm turned out to be a very successful event.
Together we canvassed the majority of the students living in dorms, and were able to register a ton to vote, many right here in RIT’s own NY-29th where Eric Massa is poised to unseat Randy Kuhl.
